Re-defining the concept of classical crossover, Katherine has achieved global sales of more than three million. This autumn sees the release of her sixth album, Sacred Arias, from a remarkable mezzo-soprano whose versatility has enabled her to tackle a wide variety of styles, from the great arias of opera to the classics of Hollywood. "I’ve never done a themed album before," she says. "I’ve always tended to collect requests and other songs, but these ones came very naturally and easily to me."
Commenting on the concerts, Katherine Jenkins said ‘Following my forest tour debut this year I am really looking forward to the opportunity of performing in some more of these beautiful and unique locations in 2009’.
