We are just minutes from J14 M56 in the heart of the village of Helsby, three miles from the small market town of Frodsham and a 2 minute walk from Helsby railway station making it an ideal location. Helsby Railway station is on the Manchester Piccadilly-Chester-Llandudno line and Chester is just 8 minutes and one stop away with Manchester only 50 minutes by train. Liverpool is just a 25 minute drive away. There is also a good local bus service at the top of the lane. Liverpool John Lennon Airport & Manchester Airport are both less than 25 minutes away and we can arrange for you to be collected from either airport.

If you enjoy visiting Stately Homes and gardens then from The Courtyard it is easy to get to Arley Hall & Gardens, Ness Gardens on the Wirral Penninsula, Norton Priory at Runcorn and Tatton Park - all of which are between 15 and 25 minutes away. The historic heritage City of Chester with it's Roman Amphitheatre, medieval walls and shopping on The Rows offers much to see and do and can easily be reached by train, bus and car. Alternatively, Cheshire Oaks, with over 150 designer shops featuring famous brands such as Burberry, Pringle, Mulberry, Karen Millen, Coast, Jaeger, Ralph Lauren, Kurt Geiger and many more is only 10 minutes away from The Courtyard and after you've shopped you'll be ready to drop into our comfortable beds for a well earned rest!
